1、 Resistance system:
The advantage of the car navigation resistive touch screen is that its screen and control system are relatively cheap, and its response sensitivity is very good. In addition, whether it is a four wire resistive touch screen or a five wire resistive touch screen, they are completely isolated from the outside world and are not afraid of dust and moisture, and can adapt to various harsh environments. It can be touched with any object and has good stability.
The disadvantage of the car navigation resistive touch screen is that the outer film of the resistive touch screen is easy to be scratched, which makes the touch screen unusable, and the multi-layer structure will lead to great light loss. For handheld devices, it is usually necessary to increase the backlight source to make up for the poor light transmission, but this will also increase the consumption of the battery.
2、 Capacitance system:
Capacitive touch screen only needs to touch, and does not need pressure to generate signals; The life of the capacitance scheme is longer, because the components in the capacitive touch screen do not need to move, and the light loss and system power consumption are superior to the resistance technology; Capacitive technology is wear-resistant, with long service life and low maintenance cost when users use it, so the overall operating expenses of the manufacturer can be further reduced.
Although the light transmittance and clarity of capacitive touch screen are better than that of four wire resistive screen, of course, they cannot be compared with surface acoustic wave screen and five wire resistive screen. However, the capacitance screen reflects light seriously. Moreover, the four layer composite touch screen of capacitance technology has uneven light transmittance to each wavelength light, which has the problem of color distortion. Due to the reflection of light between layers, image characters are also blurred.
