Three Fitting Technologies of Industrial Touch Screen
Release Date:2022-10-18

With the development of LCD touch technology, industrial touch screens are more and more used in the industrial field. At present, the main industrial touch screens on the market are capacitive touch screens and resistive touch screens. How is the touch panel fixed on the LCD screen? This involves a concept, industrial touch screen fitting technology.
We generally divide the LCD touch screen into three parts, from top to bottom, they are glass cover, touch panel (CTP or RTP) and LCD. After the three parts are bonded through the bonding technology, it is a complete industrial touch screen. Industrial touch screen fitting technology is divided into three types: full fitting technology, frame pasting technology and zero fitting technology.

Industrial touch screen fitting technology
1、 Full fit technology of industrial touch screen
Full fitting technology: a fitting process in which the LCD screen and the touch panel (TP) are completely and seamlessly bonded with water glue or optical glue. Generally, OCA glue and LOCA water glue are used.
OCA glue is mainly used for laminating small size liquid crystal products, but the laminating cost is high, and the screen will turn yellow after a long time, and bubbles are easily generated at the poor ink section. The advantages lie in high production efficiency, uniform thickness, no glue overflow, controllable bonding area, no corrosion problem and simple maintenance.
LOCA water glue is mainly used for laminating large size liquid crystal products, curved surfaces or more complex structures. The cost is lower than that of OCA glue. The advantage is that it can bond curved or uneven surface materials, is insensitive to ink thickness, is easy to rework, and has relatively low cost.
To sum up, the disadvantages of full fitting are that the process is complex, the production yield is low, and the equipment input cost is high.

2、 Frame pasting technology of industrial touch screen
Frame pasting technology: It is the most widely used pasting technology on the market. It uses double-sided adhesive tape to fix the touch panel (TP) and the four sides of the LCD screen. Because of its low cost and simple process, it is favored by small and medium-sized LCD manufacturers. The disadvantage is that there is an air layer between the LCD screen and the touch panel, so the display effect is unsatisfactory.

3、 0 Paste Technology of Industrial Touch Screen
0 lamination technology: Its lamination method is between full lamination and frame lamination, mainly filling the touch panel and LCD with non adhesive transparent media with refractive index equivalent to glass. On the one hand, there is no gap between TP and LCD, which improves the display effect; On the other hand, because it has no viscosity, the assembly and maintenance are very simple, and the comprehensive cost is low.
