A 5 wires resistive touch screen is a type of touchscreen technology that uses five main components to detect touch input.
It operates on the principle of changes in electrical resistance when pressure is applied to the screen.
The use of the additional X-axis layer in a 5-wire resistive touch screen helps to overcome some of the limitations of the 4-wire version.
